2012 Presidential Debates

Be an educated voter!  We hope you were able to check out the first of the four 2012 Presidential Debates this Wednesday, October 3rd, broadcasting live on C-SPAN, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and all cable news channels. Be sure to look out for the next three debates where both presidential nominees and vice presidental nominees will discuss many issues regarding the American people. 

Debate 2: Thursday, October 11th

Participates: Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan

Where: Centre College in Denville, Kentucky

Topic:  Foreign and Domestic Policy

Time: 9-10:30 p.m.

The debate will cover foreign and domestic topics; it will be divided into nine different segments lasting 10 minutes each. The moderator will ask an opening question and the candidates will have 2 minutes to present their answer.

Debate 3: Tuesday, October 16th

Participants: President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney

Where: Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York

Topic: Town meeting format including foreign and domestic policies

Time: 9-10:30 p.m.

 This presidential debate will be like a town meeting during which citizens will ask the candidates questions regarding foreign and domestic issues.  The candidates will have two minutes to respond and another additional minute for the moderator to create a discussion.

Debate 4: Monday, October 22nd

Participants: President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney

Where: Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida

Topic: Foreign policy

Time: 9- 10:30 p.m.

 This debate will be divided into six 15 minute segments on topics that will be announced a couple weeks before the date and will focus on foreign policy.
