November 30, 2012

10AM – 4 PM

Gottesman Room, Kessel Student Center

Breakfast and Lunch Provided

We are pleased to announce that in conjunction with Project Pericles, The Center for Community Action and Research at Pace University will be offering a free in-depth training with the author of the
One Hour Activist, Christopher Kush in November.  Making Your Voice Heard:  D4D on the Road focuses on developing practical tools to help you fight for issues and candidates you care about.  Accessible to novices as well as seasoned activists, these skills can be used regardless of what side of an issue you are on.   Once the election is over, the things you care about don’t end!

This event is open to both Pace NY and Pace PLV.  It is also available to the broader community including students from other campuses and community partners.    Transportation for the Pace PNY community is limited, but available. Co-sponsorship (university offices, clubs and organizations) of the event is welcome.   Students who complete the training will receive a certificate of completion. For more information, please contact
Dan Botting  in NYC and Heather Novak hnovak@pace.edu  in Westchester.

This event is free.  Seating is limiting, and registration is required.  Register online by Friday, November 16.
