Voter Van 2012: A Huge Success

As we all know, November 6th 2012 was marked as an important day for Americans as it was one of the biggest elections in the past four years, the presidential election. For many Pace students, it was their first time voting so they were anxious to take up the opportunity to vote for the next President of the United States.  The Center for Community Action and Research on the Pleasantville Campus hosted a Voter Van that took Pace University students from both Pleasantville and Briarcliff, to their local voting polls and back to campus. With the help of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and SDCA the Voter Van was a huge success in transporting about 130 students to the polls giving them the chance to vote for the next President of the United States.
