Winter Break Service Opportunities

The holiday season is the busiest time of year for charities and nonprofit organizations. Unfortunately, this is also the time that Pace students are not in school or are generally off-campus.

We here at the CCAR are well aware that you will miss us over the break. Not to worry though, because we have created a list of service opportunities that you can participate in whether you stay in the city, or go somewhere else!

New York Common Pantry

Pantry-visit-Dec-16-620

Have you volunteered with us at New York Common Pantry? Well either way, you have an opportunity to do so when school is out of session! NYCP is a local food pantry, and they always need volunteers around the holiday season.

The Door

Want to empower young people in need, and be a part of someone’s journey to success? Volunteer with The Door this winter, and help make a difference in your community by tutoring or providing children with the food and shelter they need.

Martin Luther King Day of Service

Martin Luther King Jr. day is a big day of service every year, but unfortunately we are not in session on that day! Here are some opportunities to do service on MLK day with the larger community.

If none of these options work for you, or if you want to volunteer over the break but you won’t be in the city, here are some great search tools to aid you in finding your perfect fit!

All For Good

Find Your Own

Happy holidays from the CCAR! We are looking forward to seeing you in the Spring 2015 semester!
